Farm-Fresh Flavors, Hudson Valley Grown

Seasonal brunch, farm dinners, and local groceries rooted in Monroe, NY since the fields first bloomed.

About Us

The drive up NY-208 to Blooming Hill Farm already tells you something: this is not a restaurant that happens to have a garden out back. The land comes first. What grows here, gets cooked here, and what gets cooked here earns a 4.8-star rating from nearly a thousand guests who made the trip from as far as Albany.

Dinners on Wednesday and Thursday evenings draw guests looking for something more deliberate than a weeknight takeout order. Weekend farm-to-table brunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday fills up fast, so reservations are strongly encouraged. Past guests have raved about the minestrone soup, the biscuits and jam, and a burger that earned genuine raving from at least one Valentine's Day visitor. The setting shifts with the seasons, but the warmth of the experience holds steady even on a cold winter Sunday.

Beyond the dining room, Blooming Hill operates as a working farm market and grocery, stocking the kind of produce, eggs, and pantry staples that remind you what food is supposed to taste like. Weddings and private events also find a natural home here, where the backdrop does most of the decorating.

What We Offer

Farm dinners run Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 8:30 PM, offering a rotating menu built around what the farm and its Hudson Valley neighbors are producing right now. Expect composed plates, local proteins, and soups that guests consistently single out as the highlight of the meal.

Weekend brunch service runs Friday through Sunday, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The menu leans seasonal American, from biscuits with housemade jam to hearty burgers, and the pace is relaxed enough to linger. Reservations are recommended, especially on Saturdays and Sundays when tables go quickly.

The farm market and grocery makes Blooming Hill a destination even on non-dining days. Local produce, fresh-baked goods, and thoughtfully sourced pantry items line the shelves. The property also hosts weddings and private events, with a working farm landscape that needs very little embellishment to feel extraordinary.

"Unforgettable experience - even in winter! We went on a Sunday and were able to book a reservation, but they definitely get booked up on weekends for brunch. The food and service was incredible, and the cost was perfectly reasonable, considering basically everything was home-made. The farm stand was a welcomed surprise afterwards, with beautiful produce, home-made products, and home goods. You also get 10% off with your restaurant receipt! AND there was an adorable friendly cat at the farm stand!!"

"My daughter & I went here for the first time last night, 4/11 & it was such a fun experience! We both enjoy good food and this walls our first farm to table dining. We shared all that we got! Our waitress, Amanda was absolutely wonderful. She was so friendly, great energy, very helpful, answered all of our questions, bc I always have questions and have us her honest opinion too. She was laid back & fun! We shared a Catapilla drink, which was so delicious, not too strong or sweet. For appetizers we tried the burrata & meatballs...they were FABULOUS! We had sourdough & Foccaccia.. which was great alone but eating with the burrata and just blending it all in a single bite was taste bud delight. For sides we got the fingerling potatoes, glazed carrots & the bacon. The potatoes were crunchy and could've had a bit more flavor to them but were delicious with the sauce from the meatballs that was still on my plate. The bacon was amazing..I could've eaten the entire plate...but I didn't! Lol. The carrots looked great, but unfortunately for us the puree they were served in was too spicy and we just didn't like that flavors. Amanda was welcoming of our thoughts & had taken it off the bill on her own. I didn't ask for that, so I think that says a lot too. For entrees, we got the Lumache bolognese & the smashburger..both were sooo Delicious! We couldn't finish anything in full except the burrata..lol but the flavors were just amazing. For dessert we got the bread pudding and the brownie. Perfect ending...the coconut Gelato on the brownie was so light and perfect coconut taste but the bread pudding had strawberry rhubarb and vanilla Gelato on top..WOW.. this was just phenomenal! We're going back to check out brunch next time and I'm sure it'll be spectacular! It was a beautiful night to see the stars as well when we left. What a fun night!"

"Overall rating: 4.9 I want to come back every chance I can get. I had the most amazing burrata salad that I’ve been trying to recreate for the last few months. A reservation is definitely recommended given the farm’s distance. The service was a tad spotty, but the place was very busy. I was on a time crunch, but would definitely want to explore a bit more. Highly recommend!"
